Ontario Wines Reviewed : The Wines to Get Now (vol. 66)

21 May 2020

Today is "Chardonnay Day", so I have two in the report to hold up my end of the quota ... In this week's newsletter I once again bring your attention to wines you should be putting on your table or into your cellar.  The good news, during these stay-at-home days, is that a vast majority of  Ontario wineries are stepping up with free delivery, offering discounts on their wines, and some are even considering opening for "private tasting" - with restrictions in place, of course ... check the website of your favourite winery to find out what is going on.

Let's also give a big THANK YOU to all those winery workers / owners and winemakers, who continue to deliver, bottle and make the wines we are all sitting back with and enjoying with our Netflix / Prime / HBO or whatever else is filling the void of time.

Finally, there is also an International wine in the newsletter, for those heading to the LCBO. This week I am recommending something from Sicily, Italy that is offering great value as well as pure patio pleasure for a hot day. Plus be sure to check out the Side Bar on the left for the latest videos and podcasts links, plus I am stepping into the archives to bring you some older (and newer) tastings - just in case you missed them.

Be safe - stay healthy - drink well.
