Ontario Wines Reviewed : The Wines to Get Now (vol. 53)

03 Oct 2019

I'm not going to bury the lead here, quite simply because it's in plain sight, but I lead off this week's e-blast with three Chardonnays, two from Niagara-on-the-Lake and one from Prince Edward County, each with incredible merit, that's why they are on this list. There is also a review of a Pinot Gris with style and forethought, VQA's newest grape, Marquette, from an unexpected place, and I end with two Cab Francs from the same place.

In addition to the six Ontario wines reviewed there's a little International flair, this time from the Coonawarra region of Australia, the wine will be in the Vintages section in nine days and is one of the best values on the shelf for both drinking and aging potential ... plus check the Side Bar on the left for the latest videos, podcasts and links to reviews of older wines, cellar dwellers, published articles, On the Road notes and more.
